Christian Education - Classes
for all ages!
Our Sunday School classes for all ages, will begin on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. (Then the worship service will start at 10:30 a.m.)
Elementary class will be taught by Barb M. The class is for children under the age of 12.
Secondary class will be taught by Monica Drew. This class is for children 12 years old up to graduation form H.S.
Women's only class will be taught by Eileen Friday with Vicki McWhorter being back-up.
Mixed Group: Men & women are invited to join this mixed or couples class. Bill Reeve will be teaching the class.
Youth Group will be lead by Monica Drew. They will meet on Wednesday at the church from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
Come and join in the fun and fellowship each Wednesday night, beginning on September 14, 2011.
Wednesday Connection, which is a mid-week program from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with an optional "supper" from 6:00 to 6:30 p.m. Music 6:30 - 6:45 p.m. and Bible study 6:45 to 8:00 p.m. The Bible study topic is "Living Your Faith in Today's World" which will bast approximately 5 weeks. It is a time for fellowship and Bible study.
We offer a "supper" for a small fee of $5.00 each or $15.00 per family. Those who are interested need to pre-register so that we have an idea of how many to expect. We have a rotation of kitchen helpers, including the Youth Group, and a rotation of meals. This supper is offered for the convenience of our WC participants and teachers so that they don't have to cook at home.
We request reservations for the meal by noon on Tuesday to ensure we have enough food prepared, but don't prepare too much. If you have any questions, please call the church office.
Everyone is invited
to the Wednesday meal. You do not have to stay for the Bible Study.
Our goal was to have a closer walk with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
